Bio
Sharon Brown Keith lives outside of Tyler, Texas, in the charming community of Arp. She and her husband, Brian, have two grown sons, Chris and Charles, and a daughter-in-law, Kaitlyn. In 2017, Sharon decided to write her first book, Mockingbird Moments: A Memoir, a story she had kept hidden in her heart for almost 25 years.

Sharon grew up in the historic East Texas town of Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1981. She received a degree in education, curriculum, and instruction from Texas A&M University in 1985. Sharon completed her master’s of school counseling degree from the University of Texas–Tyler and has worked as a counselor since 2002.

In the summer of 2019, Sharon published the book, Creek to Creek: The Life and Legacy of Charles Raymond Bright. Her most recent book, A Southern Girl Re-Belles was recently published. Sharon plans to continue writing, as she envisions her latest book becoming a series. You can keep up with the author at www.rebellelikealady.com, where she writes a weekly blog.
